Hi, I'm an italian new user of MTB, now I've decide to take my fist real MTB and I'm looking at the Specialized Epic Expert, the problem is that new models are coming, so I'm interested in your opinion.
Is a better choice buy the 2010 model with a 20% discount or wait 2 or 3 mount and buy the new one at the full price? Ad eventually the 29" or the 26". The price is in second position for me, the must important thing is buy a durable and stable bike.

I'm going to go ahead and say that the majority of people here will tell you to buy last years model.

The price savings is probably more valuable than the small performance upgrade youll get going with the 2011.

IF, on the other hand, you were a seasoned rider, that really felt the small tweaks Specialized was making would improve your "time" or "riding experience" a great deal, then maybe the 2011.

Thats just my .02, and maybe others will disagree.

I think the difference between the model years are mostly going to be parts, the frames should be pretty close if not identical. Save money and get the 2010
