Purchased the frame from Pedalon, advantage of this is you get what they call podium points. The frame qualified for around 38 points which translates into around £300 - £350 worth of goods.
I picked shoes,clothing etc all topo end gear, then flog it all this essentially discounted the frame. Then the bulk of the finishing kit for the bike came from Merlin, who have some superb deals on saved loads. This together with the deal I got on the fork which is a 08 F100 RLC which cost £312.00 imported.
So once all this is calculated saved around £500-£600 on a stock bike with a slightly better spec.
