well - your supplier is a BIG liar;)
i sell aluminium cassettes and also had several of those KCNC but they NEVER will do 6000 miles, not even kilometers.
i'd say 3000km is ok but then they start to make noise and rattle. at least that's what i personally get out of those cassettes on my own roadbike. no missshifts but they definitely start to show excessive wear. still a great way to shave some weight and 3000 km isn't all that bad either. on a roadbike a must have.

pictured below a KCNC 12-27 9s shimano : 123g
KCNC 11-25 10s shimano: 128g

the cassettes i usually sell are lighter and have the same durability.
12-27: 110g
11-25 10s: 122g

price on those stems?

Also lets be honest here, we're all upgadaholics, who actually uses a cassette for 5-6000km before replacing it? These seem more like a cassette for my race wheelset, and I sure don't race over 1000km a year

I can't tell you the US prices but for sure better priced than lets say Ritchey WCS etc.
the scandium stems are for road bars with 26,0 diameter.

well - those cassettes do a great job!! i use them since 4 years exclusively on my roadbikes and am very happy with them. but if the supplier tells him they last 6000 miles he is not telling the truth, just trying to sell his products.

Nino, clamied is 6,000 miles is from KCNC..

not my supplier. He is "testing" thier claim and it's doing ok to well at 4,000+.
Did I say perfect? I don't think he is lying. Lying get you NO WHERE in sale sin the long term. he or I have no reason to ie. Just telling you what KCNC said.

Yes it's a Race Day cassette and the Ti cogs should help with durablity...
