Doubtfull, it'd end up being too close in price to the carbon VPP bikes which are the flagship models.srfwito said:I thought I read on bike rumor that in addition to the new carbon 29er hardtail SC was also coming out with a carbon frame like the butcher or nickel.
Does anyone know anything about this?
thank you

Here's the bikerumor article: http://www.bikerumor.com/2011/01/28...ail-xc-mountain-bikes-coming-from-santa-cruz/Rivet said:Doubtfull, it'd end up being too close in price to the carbon VPP bikes which are the flagship models.

Yah, that'd be nice. The Blur XC is a little bit too little bike for me, if you know what I mean. Not that I'm actually going to buy one, but for my e-quiver a 5" travel XC frame (complete with longish tt measurements - I'm looking at you, Blur LT) would be the perfect bike for e-riding.Danish Dynamite said:I hope SC releases a carbon 26" fully with 120mm travel, 13.2" BB height, 68.5 HT and 73 ST - SC needs something like the Yeti 5.
I'd be pissed about a Carbon Jackal. I just bought a Jackal 2 months ago.mikegee said:There is source code on the Santa Cruz website mentioning a Carbon Jackal.
Haha...nice.. Why don't they use that web developer time to fix the broken links on the swobo site rather than red herring the SCB fanboys?misuge said:lol, SC was fooling around with false links and hints in the page code for some time, just to make fun of the forum Sherlocks
I think it started around the time Tallboy or NomadC was about to be released... there is a note on this in some older thread...
