New Paradox

So my LBS finished my Paradox build today and I was able to pick it up and take for a quick 30min spin through the local park. Gotta say it felt really good. True test will come tomorrow when I hit my local trail and I get to see how the bike handles on trails I know very well.

Welcome to the club, your secret handshake guide is in the mail :D Nice to see another one, like the whole B&W theme, very nicely done.

Have to comment on that saddle though - OUCH! I know when riding a rigid ir HT you don't really spend much time on the saddle, but that thing just looks very painful for the bit you might spend :D On the fork, is that a 140mm Marz dropped to 120mm or is it at 140mm? I'd do something about those cables as well, they super long from what I can see and can be routed much better/nicer.

I'm going to give the saddle a few more rides before I make up my mind. It's not that bad as the molded shape does fit very well, you just have to have tilt and position just right.

Good question on the fork, it feels like it's running at 120mm and so far that seems fine. Again I may change that after a few rides.

And yes, I think I'm going to at least trim the shifter cable by few inches.
Guess it slipped past it was an XL, bit hard to see on the small photos. Check out how I ran my cables on my XL - ran the rear brake and shifter cables through the top of the seatstays and crossed the RD cable from left to right so I could run it around the HT. I think it worked out quite well and have seen another do it the same way.

Very neat, looks like I have some work to do today.
