MT60 is DX level not XT

MT-60 is Deore DX, not XT....and installed with shop wear is not new. Rings look like 1st gen XTR era stuff.

Weren't the first gen XTR's SG, as in, no shift ramps or pins?

Deore II and XT didn't have ramps either. Those rings really look like 8/9 sp with the ramps and pins. Every 1980's Shimano crank I've owned had flat chainrings.
