About two months ago I replaced my RockShox with a Marzocchi 44 Bomber TST2 Air shock. This thing is fairly beefy and a great shock so far. So when it came to my full suspension build I am doing I opted for a 2010 Marzocchi 55 Bomber TST2 Air for it. Goooood Goooogly Goooo................this thing is massive with 35mm stachion tubes! It is also a 20mm thru axle which I wanted for some real stiffness for hitting the the hard single track in my area. This thing should be like a tank for sure.

I assume those with thru axles find that the stiffness of your front is alot more noticeable?

Ya it keeps your deflection down quite a bit. I think you may notice it more in the 'nimbleness' of the bike than anything. You can really throw your front end around with a 20mm and for the most part it keeps you on the line you want.

I ride all over the place on a trail. I enjoy moving my line around quick and rarely going straight. That is where I notice the difference the most. Btw take note of my signature there Michael Westen
