Hi, I just took a punt on a Kidvelo 12" balance bike and I am really pleased. My eldest started off on a Strider, which was great, except we needed to replace the plastic wheels as they wore out as my son was racing. When I was looking for new wheels to do the old one up for my niece, I contacted the distributors in the UK but they told me they had moved onto making their own.
They had a great offer on their new bikes and so I took it.
Bike is really light, not weighed it but Kidvelo reckon its 2.9kg and its an alloy frame and fork but with a proper headset and the quality is top notch Just built it ready for her. Highly recommend their balance bike
