I just got the wheels for my new Karate Monkey (built by Mike G). The gold matches up nicely with the gold King headset - I am addicted to matching up parts on pretty much every bike I own :ihih:

I plan on finishing the build this Saturday.

proverbial pot calling the kettle black eh? :skep: plus it's so hard to keep up these days... I wanted argyle but we aren't there yet.

Specs:
Hope Pro II fron t and rear hubs
Velocity VXC 700cc Disc Brake Rims (32 Hole)
Wheelsmith DB14 spokes
DT Swiss 14 gauge alloy nipples
ritchey rim tape

870 grams for the front/ 970 for the rear (without tape)

Almost done with the build

Here I am "keepin' it real" with my Surly :ciappa:

I just need to find some old odi lock-on's I have hidden somewhere in my garage.

I have some cable guides coming tomorrow and a spacer kit from Surly. Right now I am using parts off an old cassette. Still undecided about the bar height. I want to get a couple of rides in first.
