New Headset for a '99 Fisher Ziggurat

What size headset would I need? 1" or 1 1/8"? I'm currently running the stock Aheadset with a Bontrager stem and the Bontrager Superstock flatbars on a medium Ziggurat frame. Also, does it matter if it's a threadless headset or not?
