New to forum, new to Fat, long time gravel guy. Just got my American Stout today. I have to say the folks at Growler did a great job. Just figuring out weather to keep these Vee Avalanches or move on. They seem OK. We get plenty of snow here in Maine. I’m thinking of studded D5’s.

awesome bike, congrats. If I were you I would get whatever tires you are thinking of getting now so that you have them ready when you decide to swap out the Vee's. Feems like fat tires get hard to find in peak season

Good advice. An LBS has a bunch of studded D5’s in stock now.

Congrats on the Growler. Nice bike and a fantastic looking color too. As a Rochesterian I'm a big Growler fan, just wish I could afford one.

I ordered another set of Vee tires to use as studded tires so they will be dedicated winter tires. With a ew rides under my belt now, I’m warming up to the Vee Avalanche. For my terrain and ability level, they work fine.
