Interesting... Who makes a 150mm travel fat bike fork? I thought the Bluto was like 100mm?

Damn, fat biking must have come a long way since I had my Fatboy. I had no idea they were making stuff like that.Manitou and Wren
Yeah, it's a niche market for sure, and that's before you add in the MUSA price tag.No entiendo. I'm not sure what niche this bike is trying to fill. A 65 HTA and 150mm travel on a full fat doesn't sound appealing to me at all, given that fatties are normally weapons of choice in inclement weather and conditions and are not high speed bombers. That's a whole lotta gyroscopic inertia to try wrangling around when you're giving it the onion. Hope they spec it with retina-detaching brakes.
Yeah, it seems they were kinda relying on the ridefatbikes.ca website, but that had some errors and misleading information too, it is since better, but still kind of a mess. Not sure why they wouldn’t put out more on their own website. Bike is pretty solid though. Didn’t have my other bike ready and raced it last week to 7th overall in an XC. Not my first choice for that, but bike is fun to ride.Man their website is like stepping back in time. Looks like something I threw together in the 90s that being said the bike looks fun
those who march to the beat of their own drumWho's buying this? I thought FS fat bikes were a fad that came and went.
I'm tired of getting beat up on local trails where hikers post-hole right after a snow or when the trail is soft. It also works well in the Fall shoulder season as stuff ices up and it's nice to have the big tires to grip roots and the like. I got 7th overall in a race, expert and intermediate class, a few weeks ago, so it can't be all that bad. I don't think it was due to the DH performance, more conditioning, but even still, it's pretty easy to ride and put in miles and makes a lot of stuff more pleasurable. Drops and jumps in the winter time. I'll probably build a 29er wheelset for summer and use it as such, in concert with my other summer bikes.Who's buying this? You know that you can run non fat wheels/tires on the frames right?Who's buying this? I thought FS fat bikes were a fad that came and went.
Lets not include Wren, that's a bad idea, but I think a Dorado reduced would be super fun!Manitou and Wren
