I'm setting up a new bike and it's my first experience with a DI2 setup. Ultegra 8070.
Running the bar end junction box. I have laid out the components on the ground to do a dry run to make sure everything is working before internally running the cables.
Thing is after wiring up everything, it don't seem to be working. All components are new and out of box
Connection order is as follow
Left shifter connect to right shifter
Right shifter to Bar end Junction A
Junction A to Junction B (4 port)
Battery , FD and RD to Junction B with final port connected with the wire from Junction A
I hooked it up to the charger and it's an amber yellow charging light until it went off (Which I'll assume the battery is full at this point? About 1hr+)
After I disconnected the charger, I tried to dry shift it using the shifters but system does not respond at all.
When I hold down the Junction A button long enough, The RD started cycling which I'm thinking is the crash recovery mode.
Aside from that, nothing else responds when its laid out.
Any help is welcomed. Thanks!
EDIT : I disconnected the battery and did a "have u tried turning it off and on again" approach and it works now.
Strange how it was in some sort of "lockout mode" when I first connected it. Double checked all the connections and things are good now.
