This was built as a display bike for LBS over summer. Since parts have been difficult to source, it wasn’t built until late August and I chose three used components to complete it for test rides.
Drivetrain is all new Deore 1x12; new take off boost wheelset with 29x2.6 tires and Rockshox Recon 120 fork. New Cane Creek Forty headset (44mm), new Shimano Saint bottom bracket and 32 NW chainring on used Saint crank arms (because I waited months trying to get a Deore crankset from Shimano). The 31.6 150mm Bontrager dropper is also used but works perfectly. The Answer stem is also used but very cool. Everything else is new. The frame is beautiful dark blue powder-coated and perfectly aligned. Paragon Machine Works slider dropouts are versatile, bombproof and allow it to be run as a singlespeed. Sized for a rider between 5’11”-6’2”.
