Hi Guys , I would appreciate your opinion to decide on what new Chainset / Crankset to get
For my Budjet of £80 ( 120 USD ) the products i can get boil down to :
1 the Truvativ Styo 3.3 GXP available for £84.99 Here http://http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop/MTB++Parts/Transmission++Gears/Chainsets+-+MTB/Truvativ+Stylo+Chainset_707.htm . From the Reviews, It seems like a strong product with Aluminium , CND rings .
2.the Shimano Deore FC-m590 for a little less , though I'm not sure if it's as solid as the Truvativ
3. Shimano SLX Hollowtech 2 Triple for £95
I did have a bog standard Shimano OEM crank-set , and recently replaced the rings , however I found the replacement Shimano Rings were not strong enough for the ware and Tear I put the bike through . The Rings were warped and bent , within 500 miles
The rest of the Drive Train is Fine featuring a XTR Rear Derailuer and Sram Chain and Cassette
I'd appreciate a hardwaring crank , as I am physically a bit much . A soft crappy crank just will not do . Just need some help to decide
