So instead of rebuilding my juicy 5s i am looking for suggestions on some new brakes. i am thinking of code 5s as i am 220 on a 05 trance with a 140mm minute 3 and like doing moderate downhill stuff.

I upgraded my Juicy 5s to the new Elixir CRs and love them... I'm 215lbs 5'10" and ride a 08 Fuel EX8 if that helps
Yea I have thought about the Elixirs but it seems like they are having a lot of problems though it sounds like you don't.

On another note, is there really a difference between the code 5 and the code? Does anyone out there actually use the contact adjustment? I have had these Juicy 5's for about two years and taken them to whistler (only for two days). However they seem to overheat alot which is why I am thinking 4 pistion.
Take a look at the Hope M4s,powerful, solid, reliable, modulate very well, handle heat very well. They are hard to go wrong with.

I second that.
Gonna try the codes

Well I found avid 08 codes for 129.99 on price point and as I like the feel of the juicy's (though not the power) I have decided to give them a try plus I already have the bleed kit. I will be running a 185 up front and a 160 in the rear. I may go to 185 we will see. I would run a 203 up front but my minute 3 is spec'd for 185 max.
