i usually ride ss ht or ss rigid and it was time to change things up a bit so i can dabble a bit more into super d and all around harder riding.
i picked up the haro porter today and went for a ride. i was expecting more of a restricted ride but i still rode the xc trail without any issues.
i wanted something burly for super d and light dh but also able to cruise around in general. i wanted a bike i wouldnt want clipless pedals on, which is tough becuase im addicted to being clipped in. i dont thing this bike will ever see clipless pedals.
its definatly not a xc bike but being only 100mm travel its not completely overkill. i rode hodges with it so it wasnt a chalenge but i was able to do every bit of climbing no problem. it is going to be used for so many things. urban/dj/boozecruze/cruisin xc trails/dh/freeride/and lots of super d races!
this is my first jump style bike other then my bmx so i had tons of fun today on it as im so used to riding speedy xc bikes. looking forward to more and more riding on it. for starters ill be riding it to work daily and jumping every curbcut i see.
