Well not really...
After breaking my Norco Team Ti last week I was in desperate need of a new ride and Bones came through for me, donating a very used Norco Team 853 frame for me to build up..

I affectionately named her "Snot Rocket"...

Ick.

Nice ride skog, glad we were able to get you rolling again. I like the new name, far more appropriate than the "green hornet".

cheers,

dang! nice looking! i'm a bit partial to that color myself. i feel for ya, having broken my snot rocket baby a little bit ago.

looks nice. enjoy!
You broke your Curtlo? Skogs was thinking about a Curtlo as a possible more permanent replacement for the Norco, and I was thinking about a Curtlo for myself, just because.

Whatchya break?

green with black lettering actually :D , but the materials are all the same.

Are you coming to Canmore with that swanky edge of yours?

Bugger. Sorry - I thought I'd replied to your email/message but I guess it didn't work. Sadly the dates are a bit too risky for me - got another solo 24 attempt the week before and can't guarantee that I'll be able to or even want to ride so soon after. Wouldn't be fair on everyone else either, especially trying to SS those big hills that you have there.

great frame

You hear good things about those frames. I was trying to buy a new more recent version, but the LBS sold my size just before I went to go pick it up.
It was a pretty good frame, the geometry is built around a short fork or even a rigid. So with an 80mm fork on it, it was pretty chopped out but still fun to ride.

Too bad they don't still make a steel hardtail.
