Help!!!

I just spend $1100 large on a spanking brand new F600 (Sobe Team Replica). I was looking at The Jekyll 600 Disc and also the F800. For what I want to do with the bike (road rides with the wife while towing my daughters infant trailer and trail/XC rides once or twice a week with the guys) I was wondering if I've made the right choice (I'm coming off a Gary Fisher Paragon)?

I'd like to hear pro's and con's to these 3 models based on those who have experience with these bikes. It's not too late for me to drop a call to my LBS and exchange my purchase since the F600 will not be in until Tues.

For your intended use, it is a great choice. The Jekyll will be heavier, but also more comfortable. THe F800 is the best of bolth worlds. A light, snappy ht, with a 4" stroke Lefty Jake up front.

Any of them are a great choice, but if weight matters, stick with the HT.

The F600 sounds like a great choice, although the Lefty on the F800 is a lot nicer than the 600's Headshok. I pull a Burley trailer regularly with my GT hardtail- I don't like rear suspension action while pulling a trailer- it seems to add instability- so the Jekyll is probably not the best choice.

It sounds like you're stuck with what you bought anyway, so enjoy it- it's a great bike.

I tow two kids (65lbs) in a Trek trailer behind an older F900, it is a CAAD3 with 3" headshock. It works fine, it is especially nice to lock out the front shock when climbing out of the saddle. Clipless pedals help quite a bit too.

Sometimes I tow the kids behind the Gemini 900, just because it is a silly thing to do, which makes it fun. I think the rear suspension gives the kids a smoother ride, as it isolates some of my movements.
