Hey,

Just wanted to thank everyone that helped me with all my posts about a new FS frame and a new shock. I went with a 2009 Marin Mount Vision 5.8 and a RS Recon 351 U-Turn

Moved all the parts from my Moto Fantom Trail, it turned out pretty nice, besides the weighting like a tank part I think most of it is because the wheels/tires/stem/seatpost/saddle/handlebar

Once I save some more money I will look for help choosing some lighter parts from what I mentioned above.

No idea yet. I don't have a bike scale, looking to purchase one...

It just feels heavy when I lift it up, more then the HT was that's for sure. Hopefully changing the wheelset/tires/stem etc... will help with that in the future

Once I get some type of scale I'll let you know for sure

if you have a bath scale, you can weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding the bike and subtract the difference - at least that's what I do

33.8 is still lighter then my bike or pig or whatever u wanna call it. its like 40 something
