So I went the target and picked up a Schwinn Trail Way to use as a daily commuter. After bringing it back and dialing in everything (the handlebars were mounted wrong!
) it rides really well; especially for the price. The only thing that I can't figure out is occasionally while pushing hard on the downstroke the chain will slip (I'm not sure where) and the resistance will disappear from the pedal briefly. It makes a cracking sound I guess? I don't know exactly where or what's causing it since I'd have to look down instead of ahead while riding (which would probably be even more detrimental). Any ideas? Once I get this taken care of I'll be golden.
