Finally got all my parts together to finish my newest build, a niner air 9 rdo. We are also in the process of moving, and when ordering this bike, I assumed I’d be out of this house before the build could happen. Well, a few runs to the storage shed (about 45 min away) and I had everything I needed... except a hacksaw to cut down the steer tube.

For those of you riding rigid singlespeed, if you were forced to pick up gears or a suspension fork, what would you pick? I’m inclined to say I’d put gears on before the fork, but I’m spoiled with some pretty smooth, fast trails around here. What say you?
