where do you people come from?

every single time a new frame comes out there's at least one poster who makes a comment about flex or strength, without trying the frame or even seeing it in person. i'm not dissing you personally but flex has absolutely nothing to do with looks. ps. the rear stays are cro-mo, not aluminium.

Suspected this might be "old" news but what the hell. I haven`t seen this before.

Always thought highly of Balfa and this frame does nothing to lower my esteem of them. 1600£ with a Swinger... Better start saving.

I took it for a quick spin at the local DH hill. It's very plush and really sags into the corners. This lowers the CoG making it rail turns. It's definately a fun bike. I only used it on a beginer run and wasn't heavy on the brakes so I can't comment on brake jack.

Responding "Looks Flexy" has been a long-running joke on this board for the exact reasons you describe. I'm pretty sure he's kidding.
