at my house.

It's kinda like that Johnny Cash song about a '49, '50, '51, '52.............

The cab is a '53 GMC, the front half of the frame is a '52, the front axle is from a '41 milk delivery truck, the rear half of the frame is from a '48, there's 12 forward and 3 reverse gears, and onboard air to run the trailer brakes, windshield wipers, and most importantly the dual tone horn.

Brakes are air over hydraulic, and work reasonably well if one plans ahead and makes use of all those gears.

Power is provided by a 270 cubic inch straight six, with the toilet paper roll oil filter.

Greater Made Chevy

Nice rig Ken. That is what I call a real Hybrid vehicle!
Flames Ken...

... that baby needs some painted flames! And lots of chrome. Maybe some of those huge chrome wheels with an outer rotating plate. And a boomin' sound system so that when you get to the trailhead you can get that bass pumpin'! Give it that bling-bling, holmes! Say it wit' me playa: Pimp my ride!

.... kidding, of course Ken -- LOL! ....
Yeah, who knew........

that I was such an environmentalist??

I've got my eye on a '54 Ford pickup in Fairplay; if it's still there on 4 flat tires next time I get to Amurrica I'm makin' a run at it.

Ken
Oh yeah......

Flames sound like a good idea. In fact, I'd already been thinking about flames when I dug out an extra fire extinguisher to carry around just in case........=)

Ken
Dood!

nice ride, trucks rule! :D

Cheers!
That is one seriously pimpin' ride you've got there, very cool!
Please bring that to WV for Gauley season. You could rake in the dough hauling boats up from the take-out.

Do I spy a border collie in the first pic?
Classic! Most importantly, though, can you pull a wheelie with it?

I had a '57 Divco milk truck in high school that could pull the front wheels off the ground. Oh yeah, you could fold away the seat and drive it standing up, too (two sets of pedals). Top that, big guy!

I loved that rig! It looked kinda like this one:

It's winding down, though...it's DARK at 11:30 now. See you a little after the next golden egg festivus.

I was just looking at those pics last nite; that was an awesome morning. Thanks for sharing.

Ken
2 Border Collies, actually......

"Do I spy a border collie in the first pic?"

One is standing directly behind the other.

What the heck's a 'gauley'?

Ken
No Wheelies For Me!

"Classic! Most importantly, though, can you pull a wheelie with it?"

The front axle is out of a Divco milk truck, but it's much too far forward to be pulling off the ground.

I can't believe you actually had one of those. Musta been a real babe magnet, eh?

Ken
Tanx, mon......

Nachos do indeed rule!

Ken
Hehe, my Dad bought it for me from one of his buddies at the dairy. It was totally cool. Babe magnet it was. It didn't lock, so after high school hockey games I'd come out to find my friends' party remnants. Bastids!

After we sold it the cops got ahold of my parents while I was at college. It seems the new owners were using it for burglaries with my plates on it!
Thanks Duncan, that's too cool...

No, I haven't. It now takes a boat to get to his new 'hood from mine. He's been inviting a select few to ride out there on trails built by one of his new neighbours, "Dangerous" Dan Cowan, but I haven't been out yet. D.
