It seems like I have left the company at the wrong time. First the development of the pivotless Sewanee, then the new Sewanee LS that Kabush and Toulouse are riding, and now a stock 29er Obed.

That is at least what the new Litespeed calendar says that I got last weekend. (Starts with the month of April and has Kabush on the cover.)

Nice Herbert! Where's the spy photos?

How's that Mini Cooper of yours? I almost bought a used JCW but Sea Otter got in the way and now it's gone!

I actually don't have any spy photos of that new Obed 29er, but I saw it announced in hard print. I'll see all the Litespeed folks this afternoon at a Litespeed Tour de Georgia party and I will digg deeper about the 29er.
As for my Cooper S, I still have it and I am going to a huge MINI weekend the first weekend in May with 425 registered MINIs at the Dragontail in NC / TN. 318 turns in 11 miles.

I saw the bike tonight at said Litespeed party. I actually thought it looked really well thought out.

Nice clearance at the stays. Front der. clearance looked good to me (had the new XTR on it). And those nice little headtube gussets looked like they provided plenty of room for the poplock. Geo looks good too. That 71.5 HTA for the M,L, and XL should work well around here.

Not too sure about the dropout system...but it looked fine in the geared configuration.

I'm pretty excited to throw a leg over one actually.

PS - That "Litespeed Lager" was nice too

Purdy nice!! Nice subtle branding now. Nice big tubes, head tube gusset. Good top tube clearance. Looks like a good, steep head angle. Nice prototype tires!

Give me a 3 lb. small frame, interchangeable dropouts and I'll be first in line.

29ers are making hardtails a growth market again.
