Has anybody had any luck or even tried to run the Nevegal DTC tubeless? I love the way the UST Nevegal rides & hooks up, but they are just wearing out too quickly for me and have started to get some punctures in them. I know the DTC is a bit longer wearing down the center so I'd like to run them...But I want to stay tubeless...Anybody?

The UST Nevegal is horrible. It literally only lasted about 4 rides before the tread was gone!! And Im not one too skid the rear tire.

Ive had success converting a NON-UST Nevegal tubeless. I only weigh in a 160lbs though. The non-ust DTC nevegal is still running strong after months.

Question: What kind of shitty material did Kenda use on UST tires??

I've successfully converted 3 Nevegal Lites tubeless on Mavic 717 rims with no problems. They do take some work to air up and seal but once set up - zero problems with them. I weigh 155lbs and run 30psi front and rear. Riding is rocky XC.

The last tire had a looser bead than the first set and I had to build up my rim with a layer of Velox rim tape before the tire would air up even with an air compressor.

Because of the material covering the beads (kinda serrated cloth almost) it takes several sessions of the shake and lay flat routine before it'll seal up completely. Like 10 or so.
