Er, um, Nederland, that is. A little mountain town a bit west and a bit higher up than Boulder.
Got up there yesterday with Davetoo, his bro Shaun, Shaun's wife Becka, Titusguy, and Bryan. The busta' Ned ride is always good, and one that I really should do more often.

A bit of over there, a helping of up that, and a side of down this gave us all a pretty good day of riding. Mostly singletrack, with some dirt and pavement tossed in at the end to get us back down into town.

1. Shaun @ Hall Ranch the day before.
2. The kids. Make ya just wanta vomit, eh?
3. Titusguy on a bike way larger than anything up here needs. His other bike was under Shaun for this ride, so he was stuck pedaling the big pig around all day. Not that it slowed him down any.
4. Some flowery goodies.
5. Becka heading down Winiger.

Trailside turkey and swiss sandwiches, and another pb&j sandie later was all good for the ride, but Illegal Pete's for tacos and burritos post ride was even better. A few more pics. I've really got to learn to do more with lighting and so on. Most of my pics are way too bright/washed out for my tastes.

1. Davetoo, just prior to railing something.
2. Titusguy stealing his other bike back from Shaun for a brief moment.
3. Group view shot.
4. Another flowery thing.
5. Titusguy again.

Good riding with everyone, and even better just to ride. My dislocated finger continues to heal up, but it will still be a good while before I can get back up to Keystone for some DH liftserve time. I'm just happy to be riding!

What? Where is the sunglass carnage?

What a lame post with all those ride pix, flowers and stuff when you could have talked about suing Boulder county for a barbwire incident of you trying to trespass and getting sliced.

good to see.

When I get back from my work travel in August 1, lets hook up...

It's in the works, man. I'm thinking of going after RTD. Gave myself a nasty hangnail whilst loading the bike on the bus up there that morning. Great physical pain, mental anguish, and general suffering has ensued. I figure to wring a few bucks outa them for that.

Sure, so long as neither of us tries to get hurt in doing so. :)

Outta town still...back maybe Tuesday, then outta town for another 5 days...no riding for me so far. Have bike...mostly chilling with the neice/nephew. Wish I had my road bike actually. Perfect place to play chicken with red necks on narrow country roads.

I wanna play too! Never actually seen this Rich guy on the frontrange. I think he just rides at cool locations, takes a few fake photos on the front range, and is generally a poseur (with real cool sunglasses).

heh. not that day. even ten degrees cooler than down at home, it was still a pretty toasty day up there.

anyhow, that would be like going to fruita and looking for live headless chickens, right? :)
