So I got a Spot frame second hand, and it's awesome, but it doesn't have hydrolic cable stops and I have a set of Hayes HFX9 laying around. Question is do I use the funky hydrolic cable stops that mount onto the standard brake stops, or just buy a set of BB7 cable actuated. Opinions wanted. Thanks.

I use those stick on hose guides from Problem Solvers. They wrok great. You peel the double sided tape, put em in place and use a zip tie.
Nothing wrong with mechanicals, and you can probably get around 100 for a good set of HFX 9's on the Bay.
