Well Im in the final stages of building up my SS. Need to decide on some wheels, Id like to stick with XT hubs(dont want alu hubs) its mostly an XC bike so something fairly light but I dont want a weak wheel as I like to jump trail obstacles.... Anyone have any wheelset or rim recommendations ....I work at a shop so I get a discount or any sets through QBP...

As far as I know

The XT hubs are alu, with Cromo axels. XT hubs were, boat anchors(read heavy)a few years ago, but they were also pretty bulletproof. Ringle Ryno Lites aren't exactly light either, they kind of straddle the line between XC and freeride, they are relatively bullet proof too, if you want to do some smaller drops etc.
If I were to build a set a wheels that could handle some abuse, aren't crazy heavy, and won't break the bank the XT/Ryno Lite combo is a pretty good one.
