I'm looking for something like a Surly Tuggnut that will work on my '03 Trek Clyde frame's dropout.
Does such a thing exist?
Or should i just put a notch in the upper left and use a Surly Tuggnut?

Check this out.

All you would have to do is drill a small hole that it a ~2 mm in diameter x ~2mm deep, thereby making a recess for the end of the Tuggnut to sit in place on the back-side of the drop-out. Pic is included in provided link. There is also no "stop" that needs to be removed.
