My rear XT hub has died so I thought I'd take the opportunity to upgrade. I weight 220lbs and ride a SC Heckler. A normal ride consists of 2' drops to flat and a couple of 4-5' drops to tranny. (so nothing overly large).

Would like to go to a 20mm TA front so that I can look to run either a Fox 36 or a RS Pike. Have been considering the Hadleys or Hopes? Any thoughts? Other options? I live in NZ so need something that won't need to be sent back for repairs / warranty all the time.

2nd approval for Hadley

I agree, Hadley rear hubs are sweet. The 10mm bolt on axle really stiffens up the swing arm on my Mountain Cycle San Andreas. Titanium freehub, easy to service and strong make it icing on the cake.
