Need something a)light b)stan's friendly 3)good on socal terrain (loose n sketchy) 4)fat (like 2.2-2.4). Price not an object if the other requirements are filled.

Please help! I am all frustrated at my current kenda cortez's - they are great and grippy but they suck with stan's.

Continental Vertical Pro UST is my current choice. It's among the lightest higher volume (greater than 2.1) tires. It's actually 2.2 though it's stated 2.3. Been running Stan's with them since day 1. I think they run 680g which is lighter than the Panaracer XC Fire UST and the Kenda Nevegal UST.

I tend to run them anywhere from about 27psi up to 35psi for trail rides.
