I'm planning on SSing Skeggs this Sunday the 25th. Being new to SS, I don't want to look like a total dweeb out there. The only real trails I can compare with is Annadel. I rode that with a 32/18 and cleared 99% of Two Quarry (?)and Rough Go(?) Will that work at Skeggs or should I go 20 to 22? I've got a flip flop hub which gears? Thanks, Fred

You'll be fine with what your running. The climbs are just long and sustained,

32x18 should be fine. I've been running a 34x20 although when I get some extra cash I'll buy an ENO 19.

Skegg's

I ride a 32x18 and find it to be perfect for Skegg's. I've used a 17 and a 20 but like the 18 the best.
