I´m looking at some Bear Bone seatposts, but have no idea how good they are. I´m specially concerned about reliability issues since I´ve bent my Kore lite...Sure, a 160 grams scandium seatpost is not made with sturdyness in mind....But it´s sooo light !
I´m close to 170 lbs and run about 200mm of exposed post.
Thanks

I'm assuming you're referring to the KCNC stuff, correct? From what i've heard is that their current SC Pro Lite isn't so good (clamping mech sucks). Plus, it has a setback so if you're looking for a non-setback style seatpost this again would not be the one for you. But, there's good news. KCNC will be releasing a new seatpost any day now called the Ti Pro Lite (made from scandium with Ti bolts) which looks almost identical to the New Ultimate design. Although not as light as the NU (27.2mm = 158g, 31.6mm = 188g) it will be much cheaper... around $82 US dollars!

Ok, this is the post in question:

Bear Bone Ti pro lite scandium. Scandium tube with ti hardware.
Jakeplazma, is this the good one ? It has no setback and the clamp area looks very much like aTune or a Ultimate as you say.
