I'll be visiting the Southern Indiana/Owensboro, KY area in a couple weeks and would greatly appreciate some singletrack trail recommendations located within a 30-45 minute driving distance of Owensboro. I could probably carve out 60-90 minutes for the actual ride (perhaps 10-15 miles). I'm 50 years young and ride at an intermediate/advanced level.

Many thanks

In Indiana

I would say go to.Ferdinand State forest is great fun in ferdinand in, ~45 miles, lots of ups and downs.
or The tell city district of the hoosier national forest has some good trails too, some are a little horsey, and some are under used, but an adventure can be had

All I personally know of in western ky are pennyrile, LBL, and lake barkley state park, but those are a bit far for you. I'm sure there is good stuff closer than that south of the river.
