I ride an 05 Stumpy. My front rim got bent a bit, caught on my brakes sent me flying and than just completely torqued into a taco.
I'm a 190# cross country biker. I don't always take the best lines, and I'm a little rough sometimes over rocky sections.
Should I just get a new rim and have the LBS lace them up? Or should I get a new front wheel? or a whole new wheelset? Of course price wise the rim is cheapest.
The current rims were Alex DP20, Specialized Stout hub front, and some Shimano hub in the rear.
