And can not find any except on ebay.
What you all think: buy now , or hope the right ship lands ashore?

Define "mini"? I have a set and I keep toying with the idea of selling
Derrailleur,cassette, shifter, chain
I'd recommend buying off AliExpress. I've bought numerous Shimano parts off there in the last few months, paid with PayPal, and all have showed up in less than 3 weeks with the standard shipping for WAY less than I would have paid stateside.

I have ordered several parts for my single speed off ebay, many from China and have received in very fast shipping times. As quick as pre Covid or quicker. I guess it’s all in what you are looking for. Small items don’t always go in a container and skip that whole process. I have some Tektro brakes coming next week and they were ordered a week ago…

Aren't Shimano parts off AliExpress generally gray market (factory seconds, possibly counterfeit, no warranty, etc.)? The prices always seemed too good to be true to me.

I bought an Xtr chain on ebay coming from china. OE brand new, no package. broke a link after 2 months. Did not use it again. Didnt trust it anymore. But I bought xt brakes on pink bike OE. works fine and xt cassette from Lordgun. Works fine. My 2 cents
Just keep searching the major websites and local shops. Be willing to go to deore or xt if needed for a few parts. You should be able to put the kit together in 3 months.

tip: I usually have better luck searching 7100 instead of SLX

Join FB or other classified/marketplace groups specializing in bike stuff. New or nearly so take off parts show up pretty regularly.

They're grey market in that they were probably intended for complete builds or something. They are not seconds or blems. You will not get a warranty if you buy off eBay either, so not sure what the concern is there

Sorry, I'm not trying to be a dick or anything. You sound fairly certain, so if you have any actual evidence that they are not seconds or counterfeit, then that would be useful information. Otherwise, we're all just speculating about their origin.
Both of my bikes are running XT rear derailleurs and shifters that I sourced off AliExpress. I run XTR chains that I bought from there as well. I'd have no issue buying other parts too but I like other companies for brakes (Hayes) and cassettes (Garbaruk).

It's been discussed quite a bit on these forums. They are clearly not counterfeit (I believe the tooling costs would make that nearly impossible anyways), and there are a number of established sellers on there. The lack of packaging means they're probably bought in bulk for full bike builds.

If you've ever dealt with Shimano before you'll know there's no way they're going to sell off "seconds" or blems, it would damage their reputation. Shimano is really big on their reputation.

I'm mostly just repeating what has been posted on here several times. Buying with PayPal off AliExpress is no different than using it elsewhere, if you receive something questionable you have plenty of protection.
