Im trying to create a hybrid from an oldschool bike. Does anybody know if this frame is worth making a simple conversion with placing road tires on. The bike had recalled the fork and now has the Shock one Cannondale was replacing.

I don't find there to be anything very special about C'Dales...I assume you mean put slicks on the 26" wheels right (as opposed to frame modification)?

Should be a great commuter. Light, stiff, not a big deal if it gets treated poorly.

yes i want to put slicks on the bike. I dont want to modify the frame.
Just want to know if the frame is okay for commuting.
