Hi guys, i'm in the process of converting to SS and ran into a snag. I ordered the DMR conversion kit, and the rear cog doesn't fit my current chain. I had anticipated this happening. Can anyone confirm what chain size I need to buy? I believe I need an 1/8" chain. Here is the kit:

DMR STS and Cassette Spacer Combo Kit > Components > Drivetrain > Singlespeed Cogs and Freewheels | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

Also, this is the front chain ring I ordered. I am hoping they are compatible. I know you can run mixed chain size components, but you have to run the bigger chain. I'm assuming this cog will work with the chain I need for the above conversion kit?

Race Face Single Ring Chainring > Components > Drivetrain > Chainrings | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

Thanks for any help! Gonna hit up my LBS for a new chain on my lunch break tomorrow if someone is able to confirm what I need.

1/8" should do the trick. SRAM PC1 is a popular chain and cheap too.

IME the SRAM PC-1 is probably the worst chain you could choose.
I (and many others) would suggest the KMC Z610HX.
