Man, I have been searching forever and can't find any posts that state the exact weight of the Cove Handjob XC frame. I can find whole bike build weights but have no idea how much it weighs.

Can anyone tell me the weight?

It may take a few weeks to get a response, but try emailing Cove. I'm sure they'd be glad to tell you, especially if you were to give a competitor's frame's weight...I just bought a DeKerf, but the Handjob was in the top three on my list. Good luck.

I have no idea what a current one would weigh. I don't know if I could ride a "Handjob" but that's just me. Love that name.........

HandJob weight

Hey,
I worked at the cove this summer. I believe the 05 Handjob weighed between 4.4-4.6 lbs depending on what size. For 2006 the down tube is being beefed up a bit so the weight will increase accordingly.

Wow, that's not bad at all for a steel frame. I have a Mountain Cycle Rumble that I thought is pretty light at 5 pounds. I've just been aching to get a Cove Handjob XC frame.

my '05 Handjob weighed in at 4.5 lb. frame only. its built up around 27-28 lbs with a Manitou 130mm Minute, Sun Singletrack rims, RaceFace Atlas Cranks. Its handled about 1200 miles of abuse this year with rides that usually last 20-30 miles and some sick singletrack in the Mountains on the East Coast of the US.
