I think I may have found it. Possibly a 2009. Thank you

Not sure about the US or other countries, but do to the current bike shortage the CDN classifieds are chock full of misleading and misrepresented facts along without-right lies in regards to age, condition, etc.

Going by the BikePedia database that bike is a 2008 Giant Trance 2 -

https://www.bikepedia.com/Quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?item=24241

The tell is the "4.2" lettering on the swingarm. That only appears on the 2008 models of Trance.
Interesting spec'ed saddle and kickstand.

I wouldn't trust another word from this person if that's not a typo. Pretty sure DeeCount's right about the model year. In case you're wondering, here's a 2017. Not quite the same...

Yes I believe this to be true as well. That is why I posted the question as I had researched the 2017 and it definitely was not that.

Thank you for your info.
That'd still be a nice bike for the correct price 👍 Giant makes great bikes and the Maestro suspension is still relevant even today.
I'd offer him maybe $300 (USD) 😋, no higher than $350. And that's only if the bike is sorted and doesn't need anything.

I doubt they'd go for it as most listings for that bike/vintage/yr are around $1500 CDN/ $1200 USD.............

2008 model, 2009 carry over as the company was in reorganization. Worth about $450 tops. Long ass head tube is the give away also.
