Hi,
I am having a heck of a time finding a battery pouch that suits my needs. I would like it to be mountable on my handlebars (2 velcro straps) and measure about 5"W x 2"H x 2" deep, give or take a bit. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Joe

If you can't find a phone case that fits, then you can make them out of those Neoprene Knee/ankle/elbow supports. Just turn them inside out and they are black, sew on some Velcro and you can make any size you like. I've made loads and you can get them for hardly anything at the cheap shops.

Circuit City had a ton of camera cases and I found one that fit my battery. Between the camera cases and cell phone cases, you should be able to find something that fits. Home Depot had the velcro straps.

Feed Bags people !!! They make neoprene bags with velcro straps for roadies which are rectangular shaped, that fit under the toptube and behind the headtube. They work great for flat battery packs (easily up to 4/3A sized cells in thickness) as they're meant to hold several gels and power bars at once.

They also make storage cases which fit into water bottle cages which you could easily drill a hole into for passing a power cable thru. For that matter, do what BLT did back in the old days, take a water bottle, cut the base off with a sharp knife/razor blade, insert the battery pack, spray expanding foam around it to take up space, then epoxy the base back into place at the bottom. Instant bottle battery !
