I've been offered the this Lenz by a shop for $3500... I need some opinions on the quoted price.

FRAME - Lenz Sport Leviathan 3.0 Large
FORK - Cannondale Lefty Carbon Max 130
HEADSET - Cane Creek
STEM - Thomson X4 110mm
HANDLEBAR - FSR Carbon 31.8
SHIFTERS - Shimano Deore XT
BRAKES - Magura Marta SL
FRONT DERAILLEUR - Shimano XTR
CRANKS - FSR Carbon
SEATPOST - Thomson Elite 27.2
REAR DERAILLEUR - Shimano XTR
FRONT TIRE - Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.4
REAR TIRE - Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25
REAR SKEWER - Shimano XTR
WHEELS - Stans ZTR
SETUP 2X9 - 26/38 Chainring

I was told it was sub 24# - It rides great, took it out for 2 hours today and it was fast, climbed great, a real improvement over my GF XCal, which I really like but my back has been suffering lately. It was my first ride on a dualie, man was it nice. I'm no racer, which this seems build for, but I really liked the ride... Anyone in the know, I'd really appreciate the opinion. Thanks very much.

Frame, fork and wheels alone could set you back close to $2800 retail. JUMP ON IT!

Thanks for the feedback... I'm gonna take it out again this morning for a confirmation ride. It is newish, say 6 months, in very good shape normal wear I would say. It sure felt fast!

So I ended buying the Lenz last Sunday, shop thru in a new saddle, Ergon grips and a fitting that is spot on. I had 2 great rides before the buy and 3 since, including 2 best times on a local loop. The bike is awesome, certainly above my skills which gives me even more to shoot for. Thanks to all for you opinions, they really helped me.

Sweet build and sweet price! Good choice...

Just wondering though what Cane Creek headset you're using... I have a Lefty PBR130 on my Lev 4.0 which coupled with the 4.5" head tube (the head tube length on the 3.0 and 4.0 are the same length) left little room for a conventional headset...

I really like it, fast, responsive, easy to lock out and I'm turning faster loops! The headset is an S-3. Since the bike was used, I didn't get a ton of details on all the components, but it's a solid build to say the least. I'm very pleased!

Steve - what headset are you using on yours? I'm going to fit a Lefty to a Lev 3.0 (large frame) within the next few weeks.

The distance between the Lefty clamps are 137.7 mm. The headtube on the Lev is 115 mm and the CC S-3 headset have a stack height of 28.8 mm....how can that work...? Seems to be way to tall...?

I'm currently using the Tange headset that comes with the Cannondale Lefty4all adaptor and it works on my hardtail with a 115 mm headtube.

Maybe OP meant ZS-3 (cane creek zero stack) installed height of 10.9mm.
