I have a set of Speedplay Frog pedals that I'd like to find out if they are Titanium or some other metal. they have a very slight purplish hue to them and a magnet does not stick to it. Are these titanium? is there some sort of marking for CrMo or Titanium on the Speedplay Frog Pedals?

thanks

should be titanium according to your description. BTW, a magnet shouldn't stick to stainless steel either. http://www.speedplay.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.frog

most stainless steel is magnetic

there are many versions of stainless steel but most are magnetic since they are ferrous (made of steel) and alloyed with Chromium.
