Wow, I consider myself a car buff, but you've got me stumped on that one. :madman:

BTW: MONSTER EPIC. So double sue me!
Its not a Merc Comet.

Looks import. Russian maybe?
That's an F150 getting blocked by that Yugoslavian beater.

Man, Im stumped.

Looks mid-50s though. Style speaks to cars from Studebaker, MG, and Ghia, but its none of those. Right-hand drive, could be American, but I couldn't name the maker.

Good find.
Definitely Studebaker-esque but I don't know man. That's a stumper.

Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Gotta love the internet...

"Over a ten year period (1952-62) the Borgward company produced an innovative and unusual range of cars, all having a sporting/luxury image. Most famous are the Isabella models which included saloon, coupe and cabriolet versions. The last Borgward, the unsuccessful 2.3 Saloon, entered production in 1959 and finished in 1962."

So, how'd you find it? Did you know what it was? I was going with Studebaker.

Wow, I almost bought one just like that about 10 years ago. I went with a Volvo 1800E instead. I love the lines of the Isabella, so classy.
So you guys don't remember the Borgward?
It was included in the 1965 Matchbox car collection...

Tim
Matchbox? I was a Hot Wheels kid. ;)

Let's see if you guys can figure out this one:

Toyopet Crown, Toyota's first entry into the U.S. market back in the late 1950s.
Ding, ding! We have a winner. I figured there would be another old school Toyota fan in here. :)
I have no interest in the Borgward, but that green VW van in the background is SWEEEEEEEEET!!!!
