I bought a pair of shoes and clipless pedals yesterday. After getting them and digging around a little while on here I saw a post with a shoe I think I might like more than what I purchased. So I am hoping y'all can help me with this decision. Just looking for pros and cons of either or. Thanks for helping out the noob.

BTW, I did search for anyone that was wondering. LOL

Shimano M182 (These are what I purchased yesterday)

These are two completely different shoes for completely different purposes. The second is a tennis shoe with clips. They're mostly for free riding. They will wear more like a standard shoe and will be great for walking, but won't have nearly the stiffness of the top shoe. The top one will have much more capacity to tighten (note the ratchet) and the stiff bottoms make it really easy to clip in and out because the sole if very stiff. Of course they also won't flex as much when walking in them.
