Need fast rolling, durable tire <520grams?

Any rec's for a fast rolling, durable tire for hardpack and slightly rocky climbs? Looking for something relatively flat-free, but still under 520 grams or so, and around 2". Mud performance is not a factor, we don't have mud in SoCal, LOL.I bought some Mutanoraptor 2.14's, until my exhaustive search turned up the fact that are very scarce, and weigh 80 grams more than advertised at Cambria. Currently on an '05 Stumpy Hardtail with Spec. Roll-X Pro 2.0. Thanks guys.

These look to have potential; found a pair at the LBS and decided to try them. Thorn resistant and under 500 grams for 1.90 size.

Where are you getting that they are "thorn resistant"?

The Aramid fibers in the tread rubber is for stability and wear. The Aramid folding beads are for weight reduction. Neither increases puncture resistance.
A place to start:
  • Conti Explorer 2.1
  • IRC Mibro 2.1
  • Kenda Karma 2.0
  • Schwalbe Little Albert 2.1
Thanks

Thanks so far, one more ?

Anyone know if the new ExiWolf= the old Epicwolf?
OK, Shiggy.... yer 'the' tire man, so what do you recommend: I've been asking for something similar. I'm looking for a light tire, though a little bigger than 2.1 (hopefully) that will grip like a Nevegal but roll faster.
What would you suggest?
Nevegal DTC 2.10

There are tires that corner better depending on conditions.

My apologies. From reading the sidewall I got the impression they were puncture resistant; must have misunderstood the tire description. Sorry for the confusion....I defer to shiggy.
