Push if you want custom tuning

Fox is another option (not as custom as Push)
Suspension experts in NC

I recently sent my 2006 TALAS to http://www.mtbsuspensionexperts.com for an overhaul. The total for a rebuild, replacing bushings in the lowers and overhauling the TALAS was $155. They did find some broken parts inside as my cartirdge had become loose in the leg which cost me a little more for parts. They got it done in 2 days, even including shipping it only took 5 days. I would not say they are much less espensive than PUSH but they are faster.

You can call them to set up the work. 828-255-0205. Ask for Kevin or Mike.

Our turn around on forks is 1-3 days from the customers appointment date?

No offense Darren. Just wanted to give the OP another option. That's all. It doesn't sound like he needs any customization, so there are other companies that can service his fork besides PUSH.

For the record, I did not need an appt. Just a phone call and a shipping container. I sent it the week before Christmas and got it 5 days later. I am sure there are other experiences from other companies just as good

No offense taken, I was just responding to the inference that our service lead times are not quick. I'm glad to hear that you had a positive experience and are back riding. We also don't require an appointment it's just an added convenience that reduces down time and allows riders to get there items serviced or tuned around their schedules.

I just got my 2009 36 TALAS RC2 back from the full factory tuning and TALAS service at Push, and I cannot begin to tell you how much different (BETTER!!!) the fork feels. It's now everything I wanted in a fork, small bump compliance, reduced brake dive, able to run a resonable air pressure (70psi) and still acheive full travel. I used to have to run about 40psi in the fork, but then it would be too soft and sag too much, so I would dial up the LSC to compensate for that, which would reduce small bump compliance. Darren and his boys did a helluva job with my fork, just as they did with my shock last year. And as a tip, I would tell you to take advantage of their 2-way shipping service, they will send you an empty fork box with a return label inside, you box up your fork, slap the new label on and drop it off at the UPS Store and it's on it's way. I had a real hard time finding a box for shipping, and I think I was one of Darren's guinea pigs for the service and it worked FLAWLESSLY, just like everything else I have experienced with Push.

Let us know how you like the tuning! I am going to write up a full review after getting some more miles on it this weekend.

I recently had the same experience as eyescream. Push did the full factory tune and Talas cartridge overhaul on my 2008 Talas 36RC2 and it came back perfect!
I think Push just started servicing the Talas 36RC2 forks the end of this past summer. So glad they did!!!!!
