Right now the fireroads. The trails are too wet to ride. But when it dries out theres a about 9 miles of singletrack out there.

Do you live in the area?

Mike
yep trails are closed until further notice

They have a great trails system at pocahotas but we have had WAY too much rain. Something like 26" of rain in june july and august , We had a voluntary trail closure but too many peole were riding the trails and trashing them up. So as of TODAY the park shut them down to let them rest and dry. until further notice

The amount of rain we have had is just sick. every other day there is torrents of rain with 1-2" of water. these poor trails areound here are hurting.

awesom when open

there are trails from beginner( but no Xmart bikes will lst long on them) to expert to stunts on the double red.if the rain ever slows down the trails (especially the double red) will not be as they were before. there is some work that needs to be done to get them back into primo shape but its in the planning. if the rain holds off they will open possibly the middle of next week. go to http//www.cyclingcentralva.org for more updates and info. you will like this site for rides and info on richmond and surrounding area bike rides as well as other things of interest in the area
