I got nothing on Cheaha. Huntsville has a pretty good riding community established, so that is a good suggestion. I think you are likely to get more response here though, even from SORBA Huntsville riders. That forum is pretty low traffic.
I'm up for a Cheaha trip sometime

Not too far from me (Birmingham) Been there (the park) but not ridden the trails yet.

hey if you need some people to ride with and you are located near the anniston/oxford area then stop in wigs wheels on nobel street and ask the owner (wig) what time they do the weekly group ride.

BTW here is a link to all the trails in the area http://wigswheels.com/trail.html
Nice link

Thanks

There's apparently some trails in Guntersville, but I've never ridden them;

the trails in Guntersville are cool and worth checking out.
sweet thanks guys! hope to see some of ya'll out there! i have a new Fisher Mako that i'm sure will stick out like a sore thumb compared to more expensive bikes but hey it'll get me started till i can get a better one
It takes all kinds. No shame in riding whatever you can. I'd rather be riding a lower end bike than not riding at all :D
very true! i just got me a handheld GPS today to mark the trails and great fishing spots so i really can't wait to get out there now! i hope this bike lasts till me and my fiance get married and build a house so maybe 3 more years from now till i can upgrade
